So, things are fine now, but during my first download something about that file was different and did trigger a warning.
I'm running a full file scan now, but that will take some time as I have over 100TB online. I did a full scan of the computer three weeks ago, and ran a smart scan before this post. I'm better than 99% certain my computer isn't infected with anything. AVG doesn't detect anything when I scan the installed files, and indeed I get the same hash and zero detections as you now.

After a few days with problems, thinking Id be having to do a complete new install, I decided to restore the files AVG had removed. I was infected by the above trojan, Im running Windows xp on my EE notebook. indeed, submitting the verified file from the game folder does give me the same hash you got. I perfomed a search on trojan.agent/gen-fake an this is the closet post I got. I verified the files with Steam, then scanned the folder for viruses, AVG found nothing. I re-scanned it after I uploaded it and then it had four detections, now it has five detections, including Lionic which wasn't detecting it before. When the file was being downloaded by Steam it had the signature The previous scan by Virustotal was three years ago, and it had seven detections.
